Skylane Optics, SFP | Singlemode 1000Base-LX Transceivers (transceivers) are 1000M SFP optical transceiver modules used in long distance transmission lines up to 10 km. The 1G LX SFP optical module has an LC duplex interface and operates over single-mode fiber (SMF) patch cable with a light wavelength of 1310 nm.

The "LX" in 1000BASE-LX represents the long wavelength and indicates that this version of Gigabit Ethernet is designed for use in long-wavelength transmissions (1270–1355 nm) over long cable lines of fiber optic cabling.

Skylane Optics SFPs support data rates up to 5 Gbps and can be adjusted to fit the SFP port of any brand of equipment.
